Welcome. This is Lauren.

I’m a product data scientist: experiments, causal inference, and asking why more often than is polite.

The rest of my time goes to writing (literary) fiction, rereading Muriel Spark, watching old films by dead filmmakers, chess, design, plus an unreasonable amount of time spent decoding skincare labels.

And if you ask for a favourite poem, it’s Rilke’s sonnet Archaic Torso of Apollo, the one that ends with “You must change your life.”
